EFA Round Table with Glenn Micallef

This week ARC Managing Director Davinia Galea took part in a Round Table discussion with EU Commissioner Glenn Micallef on 3rd February 2026, organised by the European Festivals Association (EFA). 

Aiming to highlight the vital contribution of festivals to Europe, EFA’s proposal to Commissioner Micallef entitled ‘About Europe’ provided concrete ways that festivals contribute to Europe’s future as a continent and as a political entity, as a voice in the world and as a cultural society.

We look forward to taking part in future conversations and taking part in the ongoing dialogue on the relations between arts and politics.
