Culture&Health platform fund for the Maltese Islands back for its second year

The fund supports emerging Maltese and Malta-based artists working at the intersection of culture, health, and care, with opportunities for both international learning and artist-led projects in healthcare or community settings. 

Strand 1: International Learning Mobility gives emerging artists the following opportunities  to engage in international shadowing/mentoring:

  • The Culture and Health Forum in Vienna (Austria) – a conference offering networking opportunities, training, and presentations on arts and health.
  • 5-day shadowing opportunity in Finland with artist Saaramaija Zorawski.
  • 3-day learning visit in Helsingborg, Sweden with Rita Winde and Joanne Thede exploring participatory arts in care settings.  

Strand 2: Project Implementation supports artist-led initiatives that improve well-being and cultural access in healthcare or social care settings.
