Pearle* Conference in Linz, Austria
ARC Managing Director Davinia Galea recently attended the 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞* conference in 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐳, 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚 as the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫 appointed by the 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚.
The event also marked the 𝟑𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 of @Pearle* 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞* 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞.
As part of the panel discussion “𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬” she highlighted the impact of the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 (EFFEA) which aims to empower festivals and offer emerging artists a platform to establish themselves on the international stage. Other Pearle* members shared their perspectives and real stories of how EU cultural funding enables projects and supports new generations of artists, highlighting how the added value of EU funding fosters cultural cooperation across borders.
