ARC hosting auditions for the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (OJM) in Malta
The OJM is not only a prestigious experience for emerging classical musicians, but also a multicultural experience that enables long-lasting friendships, professional experiences, cultural exchange and dialogue through music.
Emerging classical musicians based in Malta and aged 18 to 26 years old are invited to audition in Malta on Wednesday 26 February 2025.
The OJM is looking for high-caliber, high-potential young artists who are either young professionals or are completing their post-graduate studies in one of the countries of the Mediterranean basin, with a view to becoming professionals.
For 40 years, the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée (OJM) has created large orchestras to support the development of the most talented young artists in the Mediterranean basin. The OJM is historically committed to intercultural dialogue and the rapprochement of cultures in the Mediterranean, a contribution to peace that is more necessary than ever. It relies on a cooperation network that shares its values and facilitates the recruitment and mobility of artists in the Mediterranean.
The symphonic session of the Orchestre des Jeunes de la Méditerranée (OJM) is aimed at future professional musicians from the countries of the Mediterranean basin. This advanced training program offers a unique intercultural experience of life in a symphony orchestra, rehearsing and touring in the stimulating setting of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, and conveys the pleasure of large-scale repertoire.
