After proudly facilitating and supporting the bid book process in collaboration with the Gozo Regional Council and many other stakeholders, ARC is pleased to note that the Region has been officially awarded the title of European Region of Gastronomy 2026!
The award serves as a catalyst for developing the island’s sustainable development in the culinary, agricultural and tourism sectors whilst preserving Gozo’s unique heritage.
World and European Regions of Gastronomy, guided by IGCAT (International Institute of Gastronomy, Arts and Tourism), aim to contribute to community health and wellbeing through facilitating a space for cultural and culinary education whilst stimulating creativity and gastronomic innovation of the regions.
