[The Maltese Islands] Bridging the Gap in Culture and Well-Being

This research project will investigate the question ‘How can we effectively build cross-sectoral bridges in the culture and well-being sphere?’ in the Maltese Islands. It will focus primarily on three areas: the arts in hospital settings, the arts as contributors to the promotion of mental health and the arts as contributors to the promotion of health and disease prevention.Through a qualitative research process, ARC aims to bring stakeholders together fostering networking opportunities and facilitating the discovery of shared solutions for programmes and collaborations. The study is supported by Arts Council Malta’s Artistic Research and Development Scheme.
