ARC partners with 13 European organisations on the ‘CultureAndHealth Platform’ led by Culture Action Europe

Well-being, culture, and the arts are interwoven and have the potential to contribute to cultivating thriving societies

We are thrilled to be one of the 14 partners of the ‘CultureAndHealth Platform’ spearheaded by Culture Action Europe. We will be collaborating with Arts Council Malta to implement the local plan for the Maltese islands.

Over the next four years, the platform will promote and support emerging European artists operating at the intersection of culture, health, and social sectors. Additionally, it aims to raise awareness and improve accessibility to cultural events and activities.

We have also been awarded the Arts Council Malta’s Artistic Research and Development Scheme funds to further explore and promote the connection between culture and well-being in our local context.

Bridging the gap: connecting key stakeholders in Culture and Well-Being’ will investigate the question ‘How can we effectively build cross-sectoral bridges in the culture and well-being sphere?’ It will focus primarily on three areas: the arts in hospital settings, the arts as contributors to the promotion of mental health and the arts as contributors to the promotion of  health and disease prevention.

Through a qualitative research process, we aim to link solutions to potential partners and resources.
